Founder, Charles Cooney
Outfox Hyperbarics was founded from my passion for horses and first-hand experience as an athlete. Competing in polo, I saw how these incredible animals push their limits but often lack effective recovery solutions. My perspective shifted when a serious ankle fracture and persistent infection left me struggling to heal. Conventional treatments failed, but after almost immediately after a single HBOT session, I felt immediate relief. That moment sparked my deep dive into hyperbaric oxygen therapy and its powerful, drug-free benefits for both humans and horses.
I quickly realised HBOT’s immense potential in equine care - accelerating healing, improving performance, and extending careers. Yet, the industry remained dependent on pharmaceuticals. Determined to bridge this gap, I created Outfox Hyperbarics to bring science-backed, high-performance recovery to equine athletes.
For me, this is about more than innovation, it’s about giving back to the horses that have been my partners in sport and life. By combining advanced therapy with real-world experience, Outfox Hyperbarics is redefining how horses recover, perform, and thrive.
Join us as we revolutionise the future of equine care.
